Some people remember everything that happened when they heard those words, but I can't. I can't tell you what the doctor’s exact words were. I can't tell you every little thing that happened because I was too busy praying. I was too busy thinking those two words: six months. I was too busy thinking about how in six months, I'd never be busy again. In six months, I'd be in one of two places: heaven or hell, and I didn't like that thought at all.
In six months a normal person would have completed one season of a sport, one semester at school, gone from having temporary licenses to a driver’s license. And me?
Well, let's just say my name is not normal.
