Scarlett Romero has spent her entire life as an ordinary citizen; going to school, getting a job and definitely not killing people in the middle of the woods on a Friday night.

Until one Friday night, she does.

All she can remember is acting out of self-defence. So, Scarlett's confused when she's carted off to a remote area of the country as a new inmate in Citadel Prison, a prison for supernatural creatures.

Of course, Scarlett doesn't know this. In the dark about the supernatural community, separated from her best friend and subjected to an attempted murder by the prison's Governor upon arrival, Scarlett only has one ally.

The unknown man protecting her from starvation, dehydration and the other inmates. The person everyone seems to be afraid of. Lycanthrope Alexander Del Porto.

But he can only protect her for so long. Scarlett isn't ordinary, and her dormant supernatural abilities may get her into more trouble than they're worth.

"I didn't think that the first night at my new college would end with me getting my back broken. And not in the fun way. I'm kind of annoyed about it. Not how I wanted to kick this year off. I got into my dream school, University of Miami. Big change from New York but I've loved this school since I found out what college was. I was looking forward to this for a while. I had decided to spend my first two years at a nearby community college to get my pre rec classes out of the way and save money. It was definitely a good idea, but the vibe of the school was: go to class, go home, and that's it. So to get to a big university I was excited for that cliche "college experience." I was excited to get shitfaced at a frat party, hookup with random guys, join a sorority and probably regret it. It's where you're gonna make the most mistakes, I mean it's the first time most people have complete, or almost complete freedom. Every adult ever always told me "college is where you're supposed to find yourself" and I was really hoping that would reign true. To kick the year off I wanted to have a fun night out with my new roommates who weirdly didn't have any social media so I was moving in with no prior knowledge of these two other than their names Victoria Brooks and Chloe Whitlock. I wanted to get to know them and get to know the area I'd be living in for the next two years. So it was pretty inconvenient for this shit to happen on the first fucking night." * * * * * Morgan Sinclair had expectations for her junior year at her new college: parties, roommates, clubs, friends, even classes and assignments. Among those expectations, was not: finding out about the existence of vampires and the fact that she is one. After one *almost* fatal night out she's forced to navigate a whole new reality. Vampires, lycans, a psychopathic father, betrayal, and blood- and it'll all take her away from everything and everyone she's ever known.

[Completed] Every Wolf Moon, humans are selected from each village to be sacrificed to the werewolves; creatures worshipped by humans as godlike figures. In a twist of fate, seventeen year old Mila Young is selected to be the annual sacrifice for the Trinity pack, the most powerful pack ruled by King Alpha Roman Stone. Alpha Roman and all werewolves under his rule are cursed. His hatred for the humans and his war on the deity Moon Goddesses has caused his kind to lose the favor of their blessings. However, when Mila reveals herself to have a connection to the werewolves unlike anything a human has ever had before, it becomes apparent that she may be the key to ending the suffering of Roman and his wolves... if only he can overcome the lifelong hatred that clouds his mind and darkens his heart. Excerpt: "You smell like wolf," The King Alpha declared, his voice low and angry. "I killed one," I both explained the smell and threatened at the same time. "And you think you can kill me? You think you can take my pack?" I glanced around at all the lycans still in their wolf forms, bowing obediently towards me. Could I take all of them on? I doubted it. I didn't even think I'd get this far. I didn't even know what was going on. When I turned back to the King Alpha, he was significantly closer. "Stay back!" I cried out in fear. The power flared within me once more, lifting whimpers from around me. The King Alpha hesitated again, his eyes skating over me with confusion. He took a deep breath, sniffing the air around me as he hadn't yet gotten any closer. "You smell like... my mate." {{Warning: Some scenes may be unsuitable for audiences below the age of 15 and offensive to those of all ages. Read at your own risk.}} Rankings: #1 in Lycans #1 in wolf
