Looking For Hope
After major coastal cities sink to the bottom of the ocean at the end of the twenty-first century, the richest inhabitants of Earth escape the planet to build new colonies in a distant solar system. Thirty six light years away from the Milky Way galaxy, centuries have passed and humanity is well established. Among the most notable establishments is a prestigious university for the study of alien biology. Moira, a girl with a pervasive developmental disorder, but a talented student nonetheless, navigates the challenge of interplanetary university life as she researches a rare and endangered species. When a deeper threat emerges that challenges the existence of these creatures, she must team up with her classmates and find a solution to a problem much bigger than they could ever hope to be. ***** Credits: The cover is courtesy of the brilliant @vertigo_moon from The Vertigo Graphics while the line editing/proofreading/grammar check was done with a lot of input from Halyn Bleiz a.k.a vin_elend from the Floret community and Katie Marie from the Coven of Bookworms community. (D)Evolved Book 1 - Fantasy
A phenomenon born of suppression, the awakening of long-dormant evolutionary powers ripped through the population like wildfire, sowing fear and confusion wherever it was realised. Most people faced the oncoming wave of rapid evolutionary change and simply withered in its path. Seeking refuge from a society that intruded on every semblance of solace an exodus from the great metropolis began, forever unbalancing the status quo as civilisation buckled under its own weight. As cities were abandoned in pursuit of pastoral life, heroes emerged to stand tall in the face of impending dark ages. Armed with their newfound powers, they became the bedrock of emerging communes, fragile refuges and repositories of art, culture and science- hoping to bridge the void into a new age. Yet to a select, special few they were all but playthings. Able to master every aspect of these powers this special few were gods in a devolved world, bending and shaping their abilities to their will be it through scientific pursuit, fantastical vision of megalomaniacal ambition. Dark motivations emerge, ambitions collide, and tools are unleashed as the battle lines are drawn. A race against time begins, with the very fate of humankind in play.Complete

Delia is a normal high schooler, until she witnesses the death of her schoolmates and finds herself thrown into a world of bloodshed and terror. While escaping from the creatures, she finds herself stuck in a shelter full of strangers, but how long can they stay safe before danger comes knocking on their door?
