Katie Richards had everything she could've asked for. An adorable kid and a fiancé to raise him with. She lived a calm life, unfortunately, contrary to what she thought her life would be like, she has to look out for her fiancé's bad temper. Protecting her child from any violent act is now her only goal.
So she takes the blows.
And when she finds herself hearing voices in the street but sees no one move their mouths, she believes she's strarting to go crazy. But the sound of a gunshot suffices to make her understand. She cannot walk away from this.

Killian Whatford is a young journalist searching for the next polemic to write about. All of his previous articles were a success and now his boss wants the next one as soon as possible.
Under the pressure, Killian finds himself spending way too much time with his five year old niece.
The amount of money spent on hot chocolates at the park in the middle of winter begins to be critical when Killian finds the perfect subject. Thanks to his niece, the money his boss is prepared in exchange of his article doesn't seem so far away anymore.

The question to ask yourself is not what happened to Katie but rather, when did it happen ?
You shouldn't quite think about what Killian will write in his article, but, about when will he write ?
