Tyla had always known her life would never be easy. Her aunt and uncle were rebel spies, as was her mother before she was executed for her crimes. They trained her well enough to fend for herself, should anything ever happen to them, but always kept her far from the fight. One night after receiving a mysterious new mission, her aunt an uncle are dragged from their beds and executed the very next day.
