Historical
He was enchanted; a beautiful woman...not like his people...but not like the white skins either. Her skin was a rich tan, like the hide from his moccasins...her lips like roses...her clothing so foreign...and hair that was...different. He'd never seen anything like it before, and was entranced as he dared to stroke his hand against it. Even as she had fainted, her expression was still etched with pain, light whimpers escaping her lips. He couldn't leave her here to die...not like this... (A little disclaimer, none of this story was meant to be historically accurate and has been created with a romantic and maybe unrealistic viewpoint of an interracial romance set in the colonization period of the new world. I mean no offense to all racial groups with this story and only hope that even with my ignorance, it can be enjoyable. If it is well received, I'll write on ^^)

She follows a couple of leads that take her to 'The Land of the Eagles and The Fertile Soil'. Where luckily her uncle awaits for her. She will find: love, loss, happiness and pain, in a world so alien to her and unearth feelings that she was always told to keep hidden.
