This story follows a woman in a post-apocalyptic world as she battles to survive the deadly forces outside of their home while also attempting to figure out who or what she really is. With no memories prior to her adolescence she relies on her makeshift family and her partner Kida inside Sanctum to guide and support her, despite the fact she is isolated due to a means she does not know or understand.
While Valarie is still trying to figure out who she is otherworldly forces clamber in the wasteland trying to find the prophesied woman who will become the world's first vampire and have the power to end what is left of the world as they knew it.
