This was an inspiration from an old thought i had about creating an undertale au. The story take place long befor frisk fell in the underground. In my au, this takes place in the underground, in the pov of a monster named Neo. Neo was said to be the strongest monster alive, and the only monster to successfully use Determination without dying. Neo is related to the 3 skeletons found in Undertale. This was only an idea so please dont lash out at me.

This is my first story and, thanks to a very good friend of mine, i was able to not be shy and write my mind. I do not own Undertale or any of its own characters, i just own mine. So to those who are reading this, thank you for your time. It means alot. All the art in this story is indeed mine unless i say otherwise, so please dont steal it.All Rights Reserved

Ever since the death of his younger brother. Things have gone downhill in the surface world for Sans. Alphys died a few months after Papyrus to a disease, Mettaton and Undyne, especially Undyne, had fallen into a depression. Flowey dissapeared into mt. Ebott, not to be found and Sans is fighting depression and insanity. One day, Sans discovers a suspect to his brother's death. A being that is trapping anyone who had either fallen into Mt. Ebott or stayed behind in snowdin for a while. Sans, along with Frisk and Undyne, go into the underground themselves to confront this being. They must encounter the Bloodfall that traps and kills anyone who dares pass by waterfall. (This takes place after a true pacifist run if one killed Sans in a Genocide run, but reset their game before getting to Asgore(I did this in a way to quit the Genocide route). This is if Frisk choses to do this the Pacifist way. I might make a Genocide one in Story Shorts. Also, My Sans is a human, but feel free to interprate him as a Skeleton if you ever choose to use this AU. Just credit me!)

(Y/N). A peculiar soul; A human core, with a skeleton's power. Her parents are ashamed of her, beating her every time they catch her using magic. One day, she accidentally hurts someone, and they bring her almost to the point of death, trapping her in her room. After the incident, time has begun to reset. Two months pass, and then it all starts over again. After two months, she's plunged into immediate pain and suffering. When she feels like she just can't take it anymore, she decides to take her own life as a sort of experiment. Y/N blasts through the wall, making her way to the chasm, where she hurls herself in.. And wakes up. Almost immediately, she's met with a threat, coming from a flower, no less. She deduces that this must be an evil sort of hell for people like her. People with magic. Her opinion is only further confirmed when she meets a skeleton who wants to kill her for existing. When Sans finds her, he's immediately confused. The absence of Frisk only adds to the confusion. Maybe this human can remember the resets. Maybe she hurt the kid because she wanted to be the most determined. Maybe this is the demon. Without fully understanding (Y/N)'s backstory, he goes after this anomaly in the timeline. He eventually decides that she isn't that bad after all; Just another depressed soul, not unlike himself. The two hit it off, their personalities obviously compatible. But what happens when one of them feels something more? And what happens when an old rival returns? HEADS UP: I really hate when, like, half the story or the whole sequel is full of pure fluff. Once (Y/N) and Sans get together, there will still be relationship drama and story drama and such. ALSO! This story is ongoing. It will have errors. Updates will occur every 2 days, and I won't edit them. Edit: OK. SO. The first few chapters are NOT a good representation of my skills. Once the story is done, I'll probably go back and edit, but for now just know that it gets better. I think.

But don't worry, I throw in so many subtle/not-so-subtle intimate moments with all the Sanses that it makes it worth the wait :D - I'll throw in some bonus chapters with the other Sanses for extra (non-canon) fluff that doubles as a breather from the story, too - Is the relationship toxic? Maybe. I mean, this is canon Nightmare after all. But that's the beauty of a fictional story, no? - A lot of the symbolism and hidden meanings aren't obvious, so you might have to be on the lookout to see them (and keep in mind: Night doesn't openly show many emotions, so the devil is in the details) - I'm not going to spoil anything, but for all you anxious readers out there like me, I'll divulge I'm a sucker for happy endings *wink* - It's my interpretation of the characters (kept as canon as possible)
