"Tate, stop!" I laughed as he tickled me.  Something flashed in his eyes and he quickly got off.

"I have to go now kitten, I just remembered. I have somewhere to be." He got off of the couch and left. 

Just like that he had walked out of my life that we had built together for the past 10 years. Without a reason or explanation. And now I'm lost without him.
