Strange things are happening in Moonpath Woods. While all four of the Warrior clans shift blame on the other, danger brews from within their forest, in the form of one of their own.

Foxkit was always treated differently from her fellow denmates. At birth, she and her brother had been snatched from the den, and were thought to be dead. But to all of Sparkclan's astonishment, she was returned, unharmed, at the entrance of the camp-- by nothing other than a fox.

When she stumbles upon murder and discovers startling secrets, Foxkit begins to see around the clans' pointing fingers, and begins to suspect that there is something going on from outside the clans.

Learning the truth, however, may leave Foxkit, and those close to her, entangled in the midst of a scheme more dangerous than she could ever have imagined. . .
