This was sort of a test run . . . I picked something I wrote about a year ago that was simple to use as a first post... Hopefully, as I become more comfortable with the site, I'll continue to delve into some other pieces that are pretty varied - short stories, poetry, "thinkings," and a lot of things that I find myself writing in a spontaneous act of self expression. I have never been a stellar verbal communicator, and since I was a child, I've made up for this shortcoming with a pen and paper.
