Music.  It flows through almost everything we do, whether we realize it's playing or not.  Maybe you can make it, maybe you can move to it, maybe it's just the background noise as you work.  For some it is merely a thing.  Something that exists and nothing more.  For others, it's what grounds them when they're falling apart, the notes and words smoothing their rough edges out like a river rock tumbling through rapids, only to reappear rounded and smooth.  

This story follows the entwined lives of eight individuals living in a mid-sized city and the events that connected them all.
