In a world where many bend only fire, air, water, or earth, the Avatar masters all four to keep the peace and serve as the bridge between the Spirits and humanity.  For thousands of years, one avatar would be born after the other to maintain the balance in the world.

Such is the case after the sudden death of Avatar Korra, but in a world changing for the worse. As the poor and downtrodden begin to fill the great cities of the Elemental Nations, a mysterious group of benders slowly and secretly recruits them with the promise of power. Hopefully, the new avatar can deal with this threat alongside his new friends.

Mother Nature chooses the new generation of elements based on who they are inside from birth. She trains them to use their element in secret. If society knew the elements walked among them the results could be catastrophic. People can belief in someone bigger than themselves, but if they knew what really went on the balance would die. The elements are to tell no one of their powers. The four most often form two couples. Mainly fire with air, and earth with water. The balance naturally is two boys and two girls. This is the story of four talented people who changed the rules, and dealt with the biggest natural chaos of mankind, that mankind never knew.
