Out on the road with his closest friends, Prince Noctis hears unsettling news: his homeland has fallen to the empire, with his father, his fiancée, and he himself reported dead. Unsure of what to believe, he knows only one thing- he must make his way home and take back what is rightfully his by accepting all consequences and never looking back. That is; until his future takes a turn for the worse.
With the land of Eos consumed by complete darkness; the chosen king of Insomnia, Prince Noctis, has chosen to turn his back on the crystal, leaving everything his ancestors built to crumble beneath his feet. That is; until he has to bear the consequences of his actions.
