This is the Jedi Code that Obi-Wan Kenobi has memorized, practiced, and recited for all of his years as a Jedi; first, as a Padawan, then as a Knight, and finally as a General and Master.  The Code saved him from making a nearly disastrous decision as a young man, bringing him back from the brink of leaving the Order he had known  his entire life.  But in 32 BBY, during the Trade Federation crisis, he meets a boy named Anakin Skywalker, and his older sister, Petra.  Following the death of his master, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan becomes responsible for both Anakin and Petra, but finds his heart threatening to betray him yet again.  He is torn between his loyalty to the Jedi, and an affection for a young slave woman he cannot quite place.All Rights Reserved
