I was the first. I arrived in the Glade, and there was nothing and... no one. I remembered nothing about who I was, who my parents were, what happened. A few days I remembered my name, and that's it. You know how they say: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas? Does that apply to a campsite in the middle of Northern Wisconsin on a prominent American holiday? Amelia Brooks always had bad luck with men. That, inconveniently, always left her as the only single friend in a group of couples, and the only thing worse than being the only single friend in the group, was being the only single friend in a group that goes camping together for ten days over the Fourth of July. Usually, that meant sharing a camper with said couples, shoved in the corner on the only twin bed in sight. This year, however, Brooks was prepared and was ready to camp in a tent by herself. What she hadn't considered, however, was the fact that this year, she might not be alone in her suffering. Alexander Hanes was the athlete of the group. With an unsurprisingly perfectly sculpted body and deep, hazel eyes that often shifted green in the sun, it was no surprise that Brooks had always had a crush on him. There was just one problem, though- he had a girlfriend. Or... at least, he used to.
