One might not always think it, but translation contractors get a lot of work in a world where alien communications are an every day affair. It's not always pleasant though. Here's a story of one such offering that ended up being more stressful than initially expected for our protagonist.

She doesn't hate her life, but there is a distinct lack of color and meh that paints every experience. Nothingness is preferred to adversity though. That is until one night, everything's ruined by a surprise at her doorstep. Jump in on the wild ride where Micah discovers the meaning of caring not just for others, but also for herself.
