Marinette is the daughter of the sun and the moon she was born with a sister named Alya there real names where Zaphine And Kegine but they called each other Z and K they grew up with there parents but then they decided to go live on earth so they took up the names Alya and Marinette but they got separated when they entered earth but they could always tell she it was them no matter what they promised there parents they would wear a special necklace one was a crescent moon which went to Marinette and the other was a sun to fit in the moon necklace the sun went to Alya so when they found each other again there true forms would be restored when they put the necklaces together
