Imagine this: you are walking to your house after school one day praying that your parents aren't there because you have to make them dinner and if you are late then you get beat. Then as you get closer you see a weird van in your drive way along with your parents vehicles. You start running and burst into the house to find your parents and older brother yelling at each other.
