L'histoire se déroule dans SmashCity, une ville créer par les combattants nommés "admins" où se déroule les tournois Smash Bros. Les "admins" sont les premiers combattants du roster du premier Smash Bros sortie sur Nintendo 64. Ils ont créé la ville grâce à un artefact très mystérieux...
