Cassie was not your ordinary 17 year old girl. She enjoyed listening to heavy metal rock bands, taking long walks in the woods, and doing everything her parents told her not to. The only in-ordinary thing about her life was she had the ability to transform into a wolf whenever she wanted. Although, in the little town of Alaska, this wasn't exactly unheard of.
Cassie belonged to a small pack of 9 other wolves, or skin-changers. Her life as a teen rebel was going all according to planned until one day her breath is taken away by a shy girl named Reya that has just transferred to her high school. Even though Cassie is forbidden to fall in love with normal people, she can't help but fall harder and harder for Reya. As Cassie tries to manage her life in her newly formed pack, she struggles with hiding her unconditional love for Reya. If someone catches her, the love of her life could be slaughtered, but is love worth the risk?
