This Open Letter is just that. It's not uniquely my story, but belongs to anyone who has been adversely affected by Narcissism, or Narcissistic relationships. God, forbid multiple.
I have no pride of Authorship and have taken appropriate lengths to keep the focus off of Who, What, When, Where and Why. Instead, focusing on the How.
How I released the past, and pain, suffered from the hidden hands of Narcissistic abuse. Some real, some imagined. Same Soul. Different Ties.
Old Karma, teaching new lessons. Same patterns, different cycle. Having less boundaries. Growing more conflicted.
Still nursing past wounds. Still, more than less, self-inflicted. Time seems to stand still, when healing those who are afflicted. Fears passed down through generations. Binding me to the inner child, still in me.
Still, God did not give this Man a Spirit of Fear. Staring at the Man in the Mirror, facing the biggest test, yet. Going through the darkest nights of the Soul's lifetime. Working on the shadow side.
Getting it right this time. Finally. Made it through the night, to the promise of those better days.
Suddenly, it came bursting through the clouds with rays of hope, as if directing its energy, directly at me.
The Dawn of a new day on the horizon.
The Sun rising higher, shining brighter than ever before. Reflecting, off me. I can see, touch and hear it.
Feeling alive, once again. Feels good to be basking in the Sunlight of the Spirit.
