Written for an Awesome August Faction Challenge, This is a Het story.
The birthday boy has had a little too much to drink and at 3:07 AM on August 9th Justin's phone rings. It takes only an hour and a half for him to realize he should have called and more than that, he should have come back.

I have often wondered how a call like this would go....
I spent weeks mulling over this before finally deciding that I would post it for the challenge, just some overly emotional drablle from a drunken JC. Het fic, but the title fits.
There is an unspecified female in the story who as I wrote it I viewed as his mother BUT could actually be anyone of importance in his life.
There is some humor and bestie fluff toward the end.

I look out into the parking lot and squint to make sure I'm not going crazy. Walking up with a bouquet of flowers is Justin.
