The Cursed Line of Bell of Whitstable
Living by her wits Jane's life is far from normal, she has her one steady fixture in her life, her beloved Dad (he has raised her as his own since her mother's passing), everything else is expendable until one of their cons goes bad; they meet an elderly lady (Bell) one evening at the train station and she makes them an offer too good to be true; as if fate had finally dealt them a good hand but their meeting is not coincidental. He said to Alec who is watching everything with a blank face. He walked slowly towards us and stood in front of me. He grabbed my jaw harshly and said calmly "I dare you to say it again." When I stayed silent Asher grabbed my hair and jerked my head back "Answer him" he shouted on my face making me close my eyes in fear. How could I speak when they both are keeping me in between them like this. I took a deep breath to calm down my fear. I have to do this if I don't want to lose my life and my freedom to them. The writer was sitting in front of her computer, stuck with the writer's block, when her phone suddenly buzzed, showing the name of the one she missed the most. As the memories came back when she heard that voice she always loved, hundreds of questions lingered in her mind. But she had never gotten the chance to even form the words as the line cut off at the same time the explosions suggested that it might have been the end.
