Clementine Marsh was born deaf and struggled greatly with communication. At 13 years old, her parents sent her to Ericsons Boarding School in West Virginia to strengthen her communication skills. Why her parents sent her so far away was beyond her, but she attended the school for three years till it was time for her to go back home. Then, all hell broke loose.
