After killing Jamie Ashen, Mary Shaw thought that was the end of it. But Mary feels that her work isn't done as she continues to possess Ella, her "Prefect Doll". But what Jamie didn't know is that he has a sister that was born a couple of years before him. His parents gave her up for adoption in order to get her away from the family's curse. Jamie's sister is Bayley Hardy. She has no knowledge of Mary Shaw, the Ashen family curse or the fact that she is an Ashen. Will Bayley find out about Mary before it's too late? And what happens when a strange package arrives at Bayley's door?!

Once her siblings start acting up for her, she is at her wits end so she tells them the legend of Mary Shaw, a ventriloquist who loved the silence, controlling the noise around her through her dummies is murdered, then comes back to seek her revenge by ripping the tongues out of those who cannot seem to quiet themselves or sometimes just taking them with her to add to her collection of dummies. In true big sister nature ignoring the plea of her sibling she speaks the words to summon her. Thankfully for the kids nothing happens. Its not until Marley goes to check on them after she puts them to sleep does she realize something is wrong. Her siblings are gone. Panic is setting in, that story was just a story right? Mary Shaw couldn't be real, could she? And if she is how is Marley going to get them back?
