Merril was an enslaved woman forced to use dark magics to escape the powers that bind her. The succubus that she had struck a bargain with, Leahana, seems to not have her best interests in mind, but with the Kings vengeance at hand Leahana has no choice but to cooperate with her 'Master' until such time that she can find a way to free herself of her own chains. (This is just a little project I'm working on with the goal being to have written something complete for once, I will probably upload chapters irregularly.)
