Jack works at the mall food court for Cane's Chicken. When he applied for the job, the only thing he could think about is the money that he'll make to help his parents pay for the house, since they are not very wealthy.
What he wasn't expecting was to meet someone, Mark, that could completely change his world. Before he applied for his job, he had a girl- friend, but after a very intese fight, they broke up the same day he got the job, which was when he met Mark.
Mark lived alone, even though he just turned 18. His parents were not supportive of him because of most of his recent decisions. So the day he turned 18, his parents packed up all his stuff and kicked him out, only giving him enough money to last 3 months.
He was very tired after spending 2 days straight finding a small house to rent, which happend to be next to Jack's house. Mark was gay, but he never really showed it. He was afraid people would begin to judge him harshly for how he felt.
Mark and Jack had seen each other at school together, and even have 4 classes together, but they have never spoken to each other before, or even really noticed each other were there, but that change very quickly...
And also, Jack is a BIG artist. He draws just about everything around him, whether it is emotions, or real objects.
