Names of characters subject to change Boss is a single mother and the commander of a small squad of rebel agents who dream of putting an end to the corruption of those in power. In the face of food shortages and dwindling finances, the leaders of the rebellion have begun to take drastic action, which Boss has been strongly and vocally in opposition to. This voice of dissonance is not something they can afford to let go, and so an attempt is made of the lives of Boss and her subordinates. Those who survived the attempt owe it to a mysterious mage, who without knowing them or their cause, risked his life to help them get to safety. But there is no such thing as a good samaritan in times of turmoil such as these, and Boss is convinced that this sorcerer has ulterior motives. She has more immediate concerns however, such as a gift from the mythical ferryman, who asks that she kill on his behalf to prevent the greatest threat to survival that humanity has ever known.

Having put aside the differences between them, both humankind's empire and the elvish states have come together in many ways. Some start businesses together, venturing into the world of economics. Very few have fallen in love, creating children with elvish and human blood. Many have shared a drink under the light of the stars in open-air taverns that spring up around the town. If anything, Compass is a testament to the ability for all races to come together. Reaching for the North Star, Polaris itself, with each other. A child born from the union between human and elf, in the comforts of high society, finds herself dissatisfied with this vision of Compass. To her, the city speaks in a different tongue, one that does not follow the illusion surrounding it. People do not live together; they merely exist parallel to the other person. She has lived her life hiding from the eyes of society, alone in a house of nobility. Years passed in her life, years full of shame, grief, and loneliness. Losing her home, her status as a noble, and the family name, she ventures out and discovers more than she ever knew about the city. Here is where the story begins. (If anyone would like they could attempt to make a cover art for my god awful attempt at a novel. I hope you enjoy reading this weird tale of mine!)

However, the barrier couldn't protect him from the enemy spell. He wakes up in a half awake state in a dark domain, and when he looks up, a beautiful woman with pitch black hair is standing over him.
