In the Kingdom of the United Regions the Orb Casters predict the coming of the Chosen One, their Messiah who will bring about a golden age that will transform the Kingdom into a Theocratic Utopia.
Zaros is the fourth son of Baron Gelbren and all he wants out of his life is to be a respected Knight. Since childhood he trained relentlessly with sword and shield, to ride well and defeat the marauders that plague his father's lands. Zaros breathed the code of chivalry, his armor was his second skin, and his life's purpose was clear.
But at the age of twenty, due to circumstances outside his control, the path towards Knighthood was robbed from him. Now, thrust into a life he barely understands, forced to adapt to a new reality, Zaros has chosen the path of Orb Breaker.

This novel turns over the trope of the "Chosen One", and attempts to explore the story of the person whose responsibility it is to stop the Chosen One from attaining their destiny.
