Sometimes it's just hard to say what you really mean. For Harry, it's a lot easier to write. To write about his feelings for Louis, composed in a letter to the boy himself. But none of the letters ever made it to the Doncaster lad. Rather, each letter was tucked away in a little brown box, never to be opened again.
What Harry didn't realize is how vital those letters would eventually become.

She hit her head and was unconscious. He followed her to the hospital and told them that he was her fiance. A little white lie could hurt, right? He just wanted to make sure she was okay. But then her whole family came and Harry found himself caught up in his lie. Her family was wonderful and he had been without his for so long. He just wanted to be a part of a family again even if it was just for a short while, at least until the girl woke up from her coma. Then her older brother walked in and yeah, now it would get really complicated. Louis was the most beautiful man he had ever laid eyes on. Loosely based on the movie While you were sleeping. Purely fictional.

I had this idea for a while but it was so interesting not knowing what the other person would write instead of writing both sides for myself. In 2018 Harry and Louis have a hard time making things work between them. They fight nonstop and Harry drags them to a couples therapist in one last, desperate effort to save their relationship. Since he's going to the States for a month their new therapist suggests that they will write letters to each other, one each day. Will writing save their relationship?
