It's not easy being an only child,
Let alone when your mother past away when you where young. Esmeralda fears the dark and loneliness of her childhood, even though her dad tries very hard to look after her, its just not the same. Her father always said she had her emerald eyes to cheer her up. But since her mother past away, Esmeralda became lonely and read lots of potion books because her uncle was a potions teacher.
