Whilst on holiday, my mum decided to drop the bomb and tell me I'm adopted, and to make matters even worse; she's sending me to a boarding school, straight after breaking the news. Dealing with the collision of these two events -among other things- wasn't the easiest.
Times are hard considering it is just me and my mum. She's all I have, plus my BFF Stephanie. At least I'm being sent to Steph's Private school, so I won't be lonely. You're probably wondering how we're best friends, considering we don't even go to the same school together. Well our parents had known each other for a very long time now. We've grown up living opposite each other our whole lives, and I guess you could say we're practically like sisters.
My life is like the upper east side of Manhattan, but in England instead. However I don't always like to play by the rules! I am not a reckless, care free girl with an attitude, but sometimes I just need a distraction, an escape, to get away.
