Covenant

The kingdom of Angolia is finally at peace. After years of fighting against the Black Horde, the people of Angolia are war-weary and seek to heal their wounds. But forces within conspire against the Church of Light, bastion of Christian hegemony and the true political center of Angolia. Lady Ves, known inside the Court of Angolia as one of the most pious Ladies of the Cloth, is aware that not all is well within the kingdom. The Lights of God, the fires that burn deep within the catacombs of the Angolian Capital, have gone out. The implications of such a phenomenon can only mean one thing: that the world is dying, the link between God and man severed. It seems that this fate is inevitable as events soon spiral out of control, new enemies coming out of the shadows cast by the cathedrals and mansions of the Capital's High District. As the realization of the death of the world becomes known to all, desperation sets in. The events that unfold will ultimately dictate the survival not only of the kingdom but humankind itself, as the promise of a future slowly fades away.
