Soon that all changes when she and her Father are taken away into custody. Alex gets hurt and is imprisioned in a hospital, but her Father is nowhere to be found. Alex hears a voice and follows it, only to find it is a girl her age named Rose. Rose is a beautiful, shy and crazy girl. The two of them then become best friends, and live through all the horrors of life. However, when Rose is captured and taken away to a mental home, Alex is alone, homeless and heart-broken.
