It had been that way for years, it had always been the way of the many immortals to craft a new life every 80 years or so, some pushing a soft 100 before they regenerated their bodies. But now in the 21st century, things are changing, the earth is dying. The immortals of this generation don't want to be there. But they have to. That won't stop them from trying.
