The twins are working on a history project for World War 1 in school, but don't know what it should be about. So, they take Kali's magic crystal and travel back in time where they meet a little stump-tailed stray dog named Stubby. They're soon in for the adventure of a lifetime while training for the war, as they'll make new friends and face numerous battles once in the trenches of France. Showing many acts of courage and heroism as Stubby becomes one of the greatest heroes in American history.
