Shane Madej is a demon. No, I'm not kidding. Though, why he decides to spend his time hunting ghosts and tormenting Ryan Bergara under the guise of a BuzzFeed employee; I couldn't tell you. However, his little light-hearted shenanigans don't go unnoticed. To his initial dismay, an angel, one he has a history with no less, is sent down to "babysit" him.

The classic AU of "demon" Shane Madej. Shane is not a demon himself, but he is rather a medium that can see spirits, ghosts and supernatural entities that others cannot. He can feel the aura's of other's emotions and the slightest changes in the environment. He can communicate with spirits and scare them away. Demons, however are not so easily fooled. He can feel the chance of human emotion in the atmosphere and has physical reactions to it, such as pain or simple feelings throughout his body. He spends his ghost hunting days trying to protect his human co-worker and friend, Ryan Bergara, from the real spirits around him by trying to hide it from him.
