The quality of Robot Masters to be life-like was always a controversial, if impressive achievement in A.I. However, no one was prepared for them to actually become alive, least of all Rock.

When Sari Sumdac walked into her father's office on Tuesday, May 11, 20XX, she was expecting him to be passed out, or otherwise struggling against the needs of his body, such as food and rest.
What she did not expect to find was her father frantically scurrying about the lab, trying to organize his projects.
This immediately set off sirens in Sari's head. Her father was never organized for anything.

In another dimension, Optimus Prime, otherwise known as the passionate Autobot leader, discovers a strangle signal that leads his team to a femme who curses his name and wishes him dead. After trying to help her overcome some sort of brainwashing, Optimus realizes that the truth is more complicated than it seems. As the two of them work together, they both face their weaknesses and the many trials thrown at them by an interdimensional threat and some domestic ones. Optimus has a harsh life as the bearer of the matrix and Temptest struggles to be the symbol of freedom she once was. Alongside them, one Megatron works to protect his adopted family while the other tags along, fighting and testing them in hopes he'll find what he lost in his own dimension. The bots imagine that a terrible villain is on the prowl, but struggle to figure out who. With a sudden disruption, all the miners had no choice but to search for whatever had gotten into mines and almost cause the loss of mined energon into a deep, dark pit of the mines. However, when they find what had caused the chaos, it became a shock. A small, frightened sparkling had somehow found her way into the mines now found herself in the hands of someone most of the miners would consider to not be responsible for even caring for a sparkling. A red and blue bot named Orion Pax. With the two stunned, Orion found himself in an awkward situation. Especially as this sparkling bore some resemblance to Orion and his closest friend, D-16. Which quickly becomes a joke among the miners, despite the fact this sparkling clearly came from the city itself. However, with no record of any new sparklings in the medical database, and no information of who the parents of this sparkling might be, the two young mining bots find themselves forced to care for this sparkling as it was quickly decided she would become a mining bot just like them. Which left them both scrambling to learn to even how to care for a sparkling who demanded attention and formulated energon for herself. And that was made even more difficult as it was soon discovered that this sparkling's vocal processor was not functional. Meaning this young spark was mute, and possibly kicked out. However, as time goes by, they learn to teach the young spark to communicate without speech, and discover she had an extreme fear of Sentinel Prime. Neither Orion or D-16 understood the reason.
