Katelyn Firefist: A tomboy, an athlete, and broken girl. Raised with 4 brothers and her dad, left by her mom when she was 6. Scared of pain and heart break. Never expecting or wanting to find love at the risk of being heart broken again, meets Travis. She becomes determined to make them friends and turn their upside down stoies right side up.
Travis Valcrum: A bad boy, a player, a broken boy. Raised as an only child with his dad, left and abused by his mom. Never wanting to let a girl in his life again, scared of the pain that may come. Scared of the heart break or torture of losing some close to him again, meets Katelyn, a old high school class mate who is determined to help even though not really knowing him.
