Trouble keeps finding the small group of demigods at Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. The world has been shaken to the core, yet mortals couldn't have been more blind. This even goes for a small group of friends that recently moved to New York. But are they really mortal? Hailey has lived in Wisconsin all her life, yet she never seems to stay in the same spot for more than a few years. She has seen every crook and cranny of the dairy state, but after an accident, she finds herself in the state of New York. She lives with her grandma in a small house in the suburbs of Manhattan. Despite all she's been through, she loves living with the one person she felt closest to, away from trouble. Until now. Beth has grown up in the Windy City and stayed there for her whole life. Her mom has decided that going to New York for vacation would be a good idea. They're now staying in a hotel close to the beautiful sights of Long Island Sound and hopes to relax. But then she sees something by the Sound. . . . Cornelius has grown up in the ghetto and has learned to be tough. He's picked up many things on the streets and has lived off his wits and strength. He has now moved to Manhattan in yet another ghetto. But will he be tough enough to face the challenges ahead? The three friends have reunited only to be whisked away by a mysterious teenager. Ofelia believed that her father left her behind to die the day the Shadow Knights invaded her home. She remembered thinking that it was her end, but it wasn't due to the Shadow Knight's kindness to bring her in sympathetically. They too had experienced similar betrayal to Ofelia and that's why she's one them. Her main goal is to get the Shadow Lord to the top of world and to kill her father. That's all there is to it. But's that not the way it was supposed to be. Ofelia finds her home, destroyed and revisits her house and finds her diary, a scrapbook, and a bracelet, all of which will guide her down a path that she closed off and forgot about. It also leaves her to question everything she's ever thought and ever done when the truth finally reveals itself. A betrayed Vessel was pushed down the fountain as a sacrifice to the Pale King in hopes he would return. Killing her fueled the Radiance's anger and the Infection began to spread faster, and take more violent control over it's hosts' bodies. This continued until the little knight arrived and put an end to the "Light that Plagued their Dreams." But when the hero died something much more unexpected happened, a wyrm of void and god appeared in the Ancient Basin, with the knowledge of things that had happened before, claiming to be the Vessel the old king's followers pushed down the fountain. I just wanted to write this.... Technically this is finished. But I've left it marked "Ongoing" just in case I decide to add joke chapters to it.Complete
