Under The Spotlight

Science Sam. Sound and Lights Sam. Smart Sam. Sam Davis is known as a nerd and he hates it, but how much does popularity matter when the future is more important right? Someday he wants to be Doctor Sam or Software Engineer Sam. But that's hard to do when you have four siblings and your parents expect to much of you.

Stupid Charlotte. Screwdriver Shar. Psycho Shar. Charlotte Reed hates her name, it makes her girly, people tease her, bully her. That's why she's Shar. Her doctor mother long ago let go of her high expectations of her daughter's future but Shar still has hope that she can be a writer or editor. But to do that she needs to pass science, which isn't easy for someone like Shar.

When an opportunity is handed to Sam to tutor someone it could be the extraculicter same needs. When Shar gets the opportunity to pass science it could the only chance Shar will get to gain university entrance. Can two opposites meet in the middle to help each other? And will they find the friendship they've needed for so long?

I was inspired to write this from a post on tumblr by the90swerentreal, I don't own this idea, they do and I just inspired to write about it.
