Trust in the Fall

Anita's life over the past three years has been full of difficulty and heartache. Through it all, though, she hasn't been alone. When the situation seemed at its darkest, she found someone to keep her strong and remind her of the God who loved her and would never let her fall. (I created this piece to enter in a nationwide short story contest with a 1,000 word limit. It placed in the top 200.)
