Eleanor has always longed for adventure. At the edge of her village looms a mysterious forest, home to the magical faeries. Its hidden wonders intruiges her, despite the dangers lurking within. Having experienced first hand what can happen to those who dare enter the woods, she is fearful of leaving. But she knows she cannot stay. Traveling to a new world her view on good and bad is challenged as she is forced to discover who she is and who she can trust. One thing is for sure though, she is in for one hell of an adventure.

Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest.
