This series chronologizes the life and friendships of 36 boys and girls, and then some, from 8th grade to adulthood.
No one is making them stay in these cliques after 9th grade but when things turn serious and as the school years go by the mentality of being and sticking in these cliques gets the best of them. Who doesn't want to be considered a HomeGirl or DopeBoy?
Be prepared, this series is filled with many different relationships, drama, backstabbing, sex, violence, death, drugs... and did I mention sex?

He knew he was blushing; he could feel it. Boy, did he hate that. "I-I never sleep," his eyes darted away for a moment, "maybe I was thinking of all the ways I could bash your face in." Devyn glared at those jade eyes, his lip curling slightly. He pressed their bodies closer, his leg slipping between Lexin's. "If you think-" Devyn's words died from his lips as Lexin nearly whimpered, from both embarrassment and pleasure. Devyn's firm thigh was now pressed against his rock-hard dick, and he had no excuse as to why it was hard. The two stared at each other in a thick silence, Lexin's eyes wide and Devyn's unreadable. Easton King has had a hard life. His parents abandoned him as a toddler and he's been from home to home for as long as he can remember. Nobody seems to want him, they just keep him for a little and eventually they all throw him away to be somebody else's problem. Because of this, he has never been close to anyone. He's learned from a young age that he can't trust anybody to stick with him. Don't get me wrong, he still has friends. In fact, Easton is one of the most popular boys in school. No one knows about his home life because he never talks about it and never hangs out with people outside of school. Derek Danvers (his friends jokingly call him DeeDee) has had a better life. He lives with his family and they are loving and decently forgiving like most parents are. He has suffered from depression and anxiety but not nearly as severely as Easton. He lives his life one day at a time and he doesn't depend on his friends but he trusts that they'll stay by his side, and if they don't then it's for the best. They didn't deserve him.
