Inspired by CrystalScherer . I have no ownership of the Dragonets, and all credit for the idea goes to CrystalScherer. If you haven't read Upon wings of change yet then do it before reading this. Go give them an imaginary pat on the back. Preview +~~~~~~~~~~~~+ My feet moved cautiously through the woods I was trying to be as quiet as possible so my catch didn't run off. I knocked the bow and pulled it back ready to shoot. The deer looked right beside the tree I let go of the string, it went into the deer killing it. I looked in pride at my catch, another good day. And that was when the screaming began. I jumped back and froze, when I regained my senses I ran back to the meeting rock, that was where I had left my stuff, when I got there I grabbed my bag and ran to my hidey cave. You see if there is ever an emergency when we are out hunting we have a specific place for each of us to go to, if there is ever an apocalypse we go to a cave that is camouflaged into the surrounding. When I got there I was greeted with my friends face it was Albert, I crouched down low and hid. We stayed quiet waiting for my 2 other friends Willow and lanya, when they came they had panicked faces. "What is going on" Willow screamed whispered.

𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁... 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆? Life in the rainforest is peaceful. The RainWings live in a place where everything is shared. Food is plentiful, no one ever fights, and even in the midst of war, the kingdom is quiet. Chameleon would never expect anything bad to happen in the forest. A normal dragonet at first, Chameleon discovers that the RainWings are anything but nice. After a nasty encounter, he gains a snout deformity that affects his scales. He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future. At last, Chameleon has the potential to make a difference... but what will this scarred, bitter dragon do with his newfound power? _____________________________________________________________ Chameleon ran over to Moss, who was crying, her wings askew. "Did you kill them?" he whispered to Moss. Moss looked up at Chameleon, her eyes glistening with tears. "No," she choked. "You know I wouldn't. That monster- Jaguar- pinned it on me. I promise, Chameleon. I didn't kill anyone. Why are they blaming it on us? What did we do?" "I have an idea," said Chameleon quietly, dangerously. He hissed. "Being different. That's what happened." He drew himself up and curled his claws in. "Trust me, Moss, I will get my revenge." Because no one should be punished for being different. _____________________________ [DISCONTINUED BOOK]
