Sadie is as far from normal as one can be: her mother is abusive, her siblings are both mentally incapable and she doesn't have any friends. She also has one major flaw that sets her aside from her peers: she doesn't talk and has no plans to speak anytime soon. After moving across the state, she meets some people: Riley, Daniel, Elaine, Hannah and most importantly, Monroe. These people have no idea what's holding Sadie back, but they accept her without a complaint. Will she reveal why she has been muted, or will the reveal come too late?

[Not been edited since 2020, re-uploaded in 2024 after an accidental takedown] Lila was always running. Running from what? Life, Being adopted, All sorts. Ever since she was a little toddler, life has never been easy. She can't remember the last time she hadn't run away from being fostered. She never had a stable home or a stable family. She never really liked staying in one place too long but the one thing that stayed the same was the feeling of loneliness and abandonment. She build her walls sky high, with only the chosen few able to slip past. But even they couldn't go too far. She was always known as the 'Silent Girl' the one who no one goes near unless they wanted to go missing. People at her school believe she's a part of the most dangerous gangs The Vipers. They're not far from the truth. What happens when she learns of her unknown family? The same as her, They all aren't innocent and have secrets of their own they're purposely hiding.
