It has been four months since Peter's kidnapping. Tony, the Avengers, Harry Eddie and Deadpool have been looking for the teen. Fury has been sending SHIELD agents looking in places where HYDRA might be hiding at.

Peter has been tortured and experimented on for the last three months and he sadly lost his memory of his Adoptive family and parts of his past. Peter had slowly gained a new trait that scares him but that pleased the men with the scary smiles. The only thing getting Peter through this was the thought of a blurred faces of a group of men and three women.

What will happen to Peter? Will he return to his lost family? Or will he be lost to the chaos of HYDRA? Will new faces appear and lend a helping hand to our struggling Spider? Find out in 'What the Mind forgets, the heart remembers'!!!

CROSS POSTED Tony was not okay. Tony was the exact opposite of okay. Tony, stupid, stupid Tony, not only recruited a teenager, he recruited a teenager that was now being targeted by Hydra. This had to be his fault. Hydra must have somehow found out Peter helped him in Germany and picked him out as the weakest link. They wanted to find a way to get to the Avengers, to get to Tony, and they found it. ***** In the aftermath of Civil War, the Accords have been sorted out, but the Avengers are far from mended. Their issues must be pushed aside, however, when Peter Parker, who has until then kept his real identity a secret, arrives at Stark Tower to tell Tony that May is missing. It will take the whole team to figure out what Hydra has planned, but they are nowhere near prepared for what they will find. PS: I promise the writing does get better! I was expecting this to be a shorter fic, but as you can tell it kind of ran away from me and I take it more seriously than I did in the beginning! Thanks for reading!

Peter grew up surrounded by nothing but pressuring dim halls and voices tearing through his consciousness like bullets to his head. He never thought he'd get a chance at freedom. There was no he'd see the world outside of the missions that were mostly wiped from his memory. But when the base is under attack one day, he finds himself suddenly thrust into the real world, alongside the opportunity to reconnect with an old friend. Cover art does not belong to me. Credit to that person (please no copyright). All of these amazing characters belong to Marvel and Disney. The only thing that's barely mine is the plot/story. Peter is having the time of his life. The nightmares were slowing down, he didn't mind having a metal arm as much anymore, although it did bring back memories he wished it wouldn't. He was bonding with the Avengers better than ever, he was happy with who he had as parents, he had four absolutely wonderful friends and he was doing great in school. He was in love with music, listening to his favorites any moment he could. Basically, everything was going fine. HYDRA won't come after him this time, right? ❇ SEQUEL TO "WHERE DID YOU GO?"
