Asta never got his grimoire. That didn't stop him from trying to take the magic knights' scouting event, however.

Edit: this story is on hold for however long i feel like i guess. i wrote most of this fic when i was 13 but i'm an adult now and i dont really have much Projection Material to add into the story anymore. i DO still have the script but i kind of lost the spark i had when i was younger. I don't really write anymore
