Addison was the typical good girl in Liberty High. Straight A's, never gets in trouble, and she's never had a detention. She has two of her best friends Karen and Giovanni. They've been by her side since the 5th grade. Addison is the type of girl that will always try to make you feel better. She puts others before herself. Although it may seem this way in school, she's much different at home. She only lives with her father and he's not the nicest. He's drunk most of the time and yells at her, saying that it was her fault her mother left them. She's never told anyone about her home, not even to her best friends. Blake just moved in town and was planning on going to Liberty High. She lives with both her mom and dad, also with her little brother, Jacob. Blake was as gay as can be and was a well known player back where she used to live. Almost every night with her best friend Blair, they would go to the club. She has never had an actual relationship and she thinks she'll never be in one. Blake also has some baggage that she never got the change to get rid of. She's got some bad habits and she knows some bad people.

Phoenix, a bold and athletic 17-year-old with a protective heart, has long harbored a deep, unspoken crush on Skyler, her elegant and intelligent classmate, who is also her best friend's sister. Despite their growing friendship and shared study sessions, Phoenix wrestles with her feelings, knowing Skyler identifies as straight. This unrequited affection creates a simmering tension, with Phoenix trying to navigate her emotions and maintain their closeness without crossing boundaries. Meanwhile, Skyler's seemingly platonic interactions occasionally blur the lines, leaving Phoenix confused and frustrated, as she clings to hope while simultaneously convincing herself to let go.
